About

I’m a Manchester-based keyboard player and composer working across live performance, recording, and original composition. My sound sits within the current UK jazz landscape, with a focus on atmosphere, texture, and space — shaped by influences from across jazz, hip hop, and contemporary improvised music.

Originally from Wiltshire, I’ve been playing piano since the age of four and writing music all the time. I went on to study at the University of Manchester, earning a BMus in Music with a focus on performance and composition, including electroacoustic work. It was in Manchester that my musical identity really took shape — immersing myself in the city’s scene and becoming part of its creative community. Alongside performing, I work as a piano specialist at Forsyth Music Shop, keeping music at the centre of my day-to-day life.

I’m a core member of Conor & The Greenskeepers — an active band and community within Manchester’s jazz scene. Alongside live shows and festival performances, the project is rooted in connection and improvisation, most notably through The Greenskeepers Jam: a respected, open space for musicians built on collaboration and shared energy. As the house keyboard player, I play a central role in shaping its sound and feel.

Performance highlights include appearances at the Manchester Jazz Festival, Moovin Festival, and Wilderness Festival, as well as supporting Cosmo Pyke at Gorilla. I’ve also performed internationally at the Summer Opening Festival in Madeira with Maya Blandy.

Alongside live work, I specialise in constructing piano and keyboard parts for artists’ recordings and creative projects. Whether working from a detailed brief or complete creative freedom, I approach each piece with care and precision — aiming to create parts that feel essential to the music. My work spans artist releases, short film, and more experimental projects, supported by a home setup including a Nord Electro 6, Novation instruments, and a Schimmel 118 acoustic piano. I work both remotely and in person.

Live, I perform as a solo pianist, with Conor & The Greenskeepers, and as a session player for artists and bands, as well as in tailored line-ups for venues, residencies, and private events. My focus is always the same: to elevate the room — whether that means building energy or adding subtle atmosphere — and to create something that connects with the people listening.

I’m available for session work, live bookings, and commissioned projects.
